Paul adds this at the end of his exhortation to press home how important it is for Christians to live a life which is pleasing to God. There is evidence that there was a Roman style theater just a few miles from Nazareth in one of the Roman towns surrounding the sea of Galilee. such (v.6b). Paul adds at the end of verse 2 of chapter 4 in 1 Thessalonians that his instruction to the Thessalonians came by the authority of the Lord Jesus.
